Integrated Mental Health

What is integrative mental health? At Echo we use a combination of western medical practices (diagnostic and assessment tools, and prescription medications) along with options such as psychotherapy, herbal medicine, exercise, nutrition, nutritional supplements, cognitive training, mindfulness, and behavioral tailoring to help improve mental health and relieve mental health symptoms that interfere with your life. Our approach is unique to each person, some people may prefer western medicine, while others would prefer to combine modalities for personally tailored treatment. We will work together to create a plan, unique to you, using evidence-based practice.

Medication Management

Psychopharmacology is as much an art as it is a science. Our providers specialize in prescribing for conditions such as anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD, ADHD, and other mood disorders. If medications are right for you, we will thoughtfully prescribe a medication(s) and follow up with you to monitor safety and effectiveness. Because each person is different, medication plans must be tailored to the individual. We will create a safe and effective plan for you, using shared decision making. We will ensure you know all of your options and have the information you need to make choices about your care.

Assessment and Diagnosis

Excellent treatment starts with a deep understanding of the issues you would like to address. We will work together to identify your symptoms, and arrive at a clear diagnosis, so we can determine the most effective treatment plan. Our intake process starts with a psychiatric interview. We will identify areas where support is needed and determine if other assessments or testing would be helpful to clarify a diagnosis or condition. Once your needs are understood we will determine what treatment options feel right for you and create a plan using shared decision making.
