I am Genevieve Utley, a dual-certified psychiatric and family-medicine nurse practitioner. I diagnose, treat, and prescribe for a range of mental health conditions, including Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, OCD, Mood Disorders, and Prenatal and Postpartum mental health & perimenopause and menopause related issues. Besides medication management, I also offer Psychotherapy and functional and integrative medicine. I am trained as an Existential Analysist and bring a unique perspective to therapy. I see adults at our Minneapolis clinic and online.
My practice is gender-affirming, LGBTQIA+ positive, and anti-racist. I’m skilled in integrating evidence-based complementary and alternative treatments with western medicine to develop a unique treatment plan for each patient. I love collaborating with patients to create plans that truly address their needs. Emily James, APRN, DNP, PMHNP-BC
Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Services: Medication management, brief psychotherapy integrated with medication management visits, integrative mental health and lifestyle interventions
Dr. Emily James is a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who provides individual medication management. She works with a variety of mental health concerns including depression, anxiety, trauma, and ADHD. She sees patients aged 14 and older, and has a special interest in working with adolescents and young adults aged 14-25. Emily is committed to creating a warm and welcoming environment where individuals feel heard, valued, and supported in improving their mental health and overall well-being.
Emily believes in mental health treatment that takes a holistic perspective. She integrates medication management along with addressing nutrition, exercise, sleep, spirituality, relationships, and environment. By getting to know you and your unique needs and desires, we can create a treatment plan that helps you improve wellbeing and achieve your goals!
Leah Humbert, APRN, PMHNP
Ages: 14 +
Location: Mankato, Minnesota and telehealth
Services: Medication management
Leah Humbert (she/her) is accepting new clients ages 14+ with a wide range of mental health conditions including (but not limited to) depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, perinatal, and post-partum related mental health disorders. Leah values collaborating with patients and will come up with a treatment plan that best meets their individual needs and gets them back to the life they once enjoyed. The care Leah provides is evidence-based, integrative, and patient-centered.
Leah is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, and is licensed in the state of Minnesota. She anti-racist, gender-affirming, and LGBTQIA-positive. Leah carries a small caseload of patients to whom she offers individualized care. Leah values taking the time to get to know her patients and understand their unique needs.


Cecelia Demgen, MA

Ages: Cecilia works with clients of all ages, but has a special interest in working with clients between 6 and 18 years old

Cecilia Demgen (she/her) is a native to South Minneapolis. She takes a holistic approach to mental health care, believing every part of the human experience holds potential for healing. As a compassionate, inclusive person of color, she integrates her own experiences and understanding of systemic barriers to create an accessible, empowering practice. Cecilia is committed to making mental health care a universal right, tailoring her approach to each client's unique journey. Her mission is to provide a safe, affirming space for all, fostering healing and resilience within her community one person at a time.
